My "project" wasn't really a project at all. I just helped Nancy out with her work which was fun but it wasn't really a project. I wish I was able to do my original project but it was very difficult and it didn't benefit the company. I don't know what I would have done differently but I probably would have had a better "project" if I didn't have to switch in the middle of Internship. What stood out to me though was the fact that I learned so much more about bridges and what they're made of.

I have a few points of advice for future interns,
Don't wait until you have to have an internship to try and find one. Don't take a yes as a definite yes until you do your site visit there. Other than that you may need to develop/advance your communication skills because that is one of the core things that you need for being successful at your job. |
